1. What is the duration of the course?
12 – 18 months: 12 months for Registered SHO with DOSH, 18 months for non-Registered SHO with DOSH
Ex SHO Certificate Programme Participants may request for module exemptions (max 2 modules)
2. How will the class being conducted?
Alternate weekends: Saturday from 3.00 pm , Sunday from 9.00 am
3. Is it a face to face method or on-line method?
Face to face method . Some lecture materials will be available online
4. How many modules are there in EDOSH?
10 modules plus 1 project paper : Organisational Behaviour, Business Communication, OSH Legislation, Applied OSH Management, OSH Risk Management, Occupational Hygiene, Occupational Safety, Ergonomics, Occupational and Environmental Health and Occupational Health Services
5. What is the medium of instruction?
English or/and Bahasa Malaysia upon request by students
6. Where will be the venue of the programme?
NIOSH Bandar Baru Bangi
NIOSH Regional Offices (Penang, Johor Bahru, Kota Kinabalu, Kuching, Bintulu and Kemaman)
However, if we have 30 pax we can conduct the programme elsewhere.
7. Upon completion of the programme, will the students eligible to register to DOSH as Safety and Health Officer?
Candidates who would like to apply for SHO registration with DOSH must enter and pass SHO Examination conducted by NIOSH and have acquired at least 3 years minimum experience in safety and health

8. What is the programme fee?
Registered SHO with DOSH: please call to confirm.
Non Registered SHO WEST MALAYSIA : RM 8,000.00 , EAST MALAYSIA: RM8500.00
9. How will be the mode of payment?
a) Flexible instalment scheme : Every module cost RM800.00. Upon registration, student is required to pay RM200.00 (processing fee) plus RM800.00 (first module). Next payment of RM800.00 needs to settle before coming to the second module class. The next payment will follow the same mode:
RM800.00 to be settled before coming to the next module class or else the student will not able to sit for the exam for that particular module.
b) EPF Withdrawal : Upon acceptance of the registration, OUM will issue offer letter which can be used for the purpose of EPF Withdrawal.
c) Bank loan

10. What is the entry requirement for enrolment of this programme?
a) SPM/MCE and 3 years relevant work experience, OR
b) Certificate of Safety and Health Officer recognized by NIOSH with 1 year relevant work experience OR
c) Registered Safety and Health Officer
