Road Safety issues are the main concern by the government based on
the accident statistics increasing from every operations. As to play our
role to support government to reduce accident on the road, proper action
has to be planned and developed. Our country lost many multi-skilled
and professional workers on the road, this will affect the productivity of
our industries. Action must be taken as part of OSH activities
related to work.
More than one third of casualities from road accident involved workers
who commute to and from workplaces and also using transportation as
their job scope. This indicate that serious action must be taken by all
parties. All sectors whether large or small, private or government need
to have a system on managing road safety issue. It can help reducing
road accident, lost in production and enhance company reputation. |
