NIOSH-TM Safety Passport (NTMSP)

What is NTMSP

NIOSH-TM Safety Passport (NTMSP) is a training program specially designed as an introduction training module for workers who are working or going to work in the telecommunication industry. The NTMSP has been jointly developed by NIOSH and OSH Team of Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) in 2006 following the success of other similar programmes introduced by NIOSH since 1997.

The objectives of this program are to cultivate the safety first culture and to provide basic OSH training for workers on the hazards and risks present in the telecommunication industry prior to their entry into the industry. The program will provide workers the knowledge and information on OSH legal requirements and also TM’s OSHE requirements.

Duration: 8 hours
- 7 hours (training) + I hour (assessment)

- Assessment (pre assessment = ½ hour + post assessment = ½ hour)

NTMSP Card:
NTMSP card with three (3) years validity will be awarded to the candidate who passes the assessment

Course fee: RM250.00

- Inclusive of course materials, refreshments and 3 years insurance   coverage, NTMSP card (RM210.00)
- Assessment fee (RM 40.00)

Language: All questions are presented in Bahasa and English Language
