In line with it's vision to become the leading centre of excellence in OSH, NIOSH encourages extensive research and development, be it short or long term projects, on OSH issues relevent of the country.

NIOSH will harnest its internal resource as well as seek external expertise to undertake the relevent research project.

The project were conducted using NIOSH's R&D internl research grant. All the project will be evaluate by the NIOSH's R&D technical Committee, who will advice on the next course of action.

There is an ongoing project conducted by NIOSH SABAH & LABUAN F.T. namely "Health Facts on Radiation Among Media Personal in Malaysia".
