National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health

TAN SRI LEE LAM THYE’S GALLERY

TAN SRI LEE LAM THYE’S GALLERY

Nestled in the corner of the NIOSH Exhibition Centre at Menara NIOSH, Tan Sri Lee Lam Thye’s Gallery is dedicated to the former chairman, who has served the national institute for 27 years.

Visitors to the gallery on the second floor of Menara NIOSH could see various photos, books, souvenirs, personal protective equipment (PPE) and other paraphernalia belonged to Tan Sri Lee Lam Thye, a Social Activist who is also known as the Icon of Occupational Safety and Health.

The exhibits on display are very significant as they represent many important occasions since Tan Sri Lee Lam Thye joined NIOSH as its director after it was established in 1992 before he was later appointed the chairman in 1994.
